MPMF 2015 Now Accepting Submissions

Cincinnati's Midpoint Music Festival is now accepting submissions to perform at the 2015 festival. The event is scheduled for September 24-26 and continues a tradition of promoting new music discovery while celebrating music pioneers. Artists may submit to perform the festival via CloudPressKit.com now through Sunday, May 17. 

Now in its fourteenth year, showcases have included a wide variety of artists such as: The Afghan Whigs, Chromeo, OK Go, The Breeders, The Head and The Heart, Grizzly Bear, Andrew Bird, Best Coast, Dinosaur Jr., Warpaint, Sun Kil Moon, Heartless Bastards, Deafheaven, Real Estate, Panda Bear, Tycho, Saint Paul and the Broken Bones, Nikki Lane, Damien Jurado, Kishi Bashi, Caribou, Cut Copy, Phantogram, Booker T. and more. 

Close to 900 bands have been booked for MidPoint via the electronic press kit process since 2008. Selected artists receive a stipend plus three-day passes for all-access in the festival. Last year’s festival had about 180 showcases total on 12 stages spread throughout historic Over-the-Rhine and Downtown Cincinnati.
